I need a Blade so I can film an installation video. Does anyone here want a HM Quickshifter and can lend me their bike for half a day max to film a video. We are based in Sittingbourne, Kent.

Hi guys, many thanks for all the kind offers. I now have a bike being donated for the video and we are just arranging dates for when the bike can be left with us

Soon as its done I will have a play with some video editing (anyone know a free Mac based vid editing program thats easy to use ) then I will post it up for all to see.

I think you definitely have to do another video ( "installing a HM QS on a Kawasaki Z1000SX 2012 ABS" !
By coincident I got one in my garage and I am not far away from Kent !?

 

It would be nice to do as many as we can on different models as we could.

 

Be very happy to let you have my S1000rr for half day if you need a video of fitting one to the Beemer. Particularly as the BMW QS is playing up and my dealer is now saying that it is not suitable for being used at high revs (WTF surely that is when it should work best).

I dont have a mac system but you could try the opensource program at Kdenlive | Free and open source video editor for GNU/Linux, Mac OS X and FreeBSD it looks very similar to adobe premier but again i have not tried just looked at screenshots and read the blurb sorry.

You cant get much easier than iMovie for your mac, and youll find most macs come with it preinstalled!
If not loads of cheap iLife sets on fleabay!

We will get around to doing this soon with the first one being the Honda and others will follow as and when it works for both parties. I have received quite a few pm's now from different people with quite a range of bikes that are more than willing to have us use their bike.

Hi guys, sorry but I now need a blade again.

The guy who was coming tomorrow has had to cancel for health reasons so if anyone local can pop in and leave the bike with me for a good few hours that would be great
