Just paid for a Power Commander - Will be with me tommrow..

Cant wait to see the difference - initially will use a pre-set map but later may get a custom map put on.

Also go K&N Filters coming tomorrow to go in... :D

I love it when me and the wife argue - it brings me and the blade closer :D.

Glad it ended with this as i was about to buy a newer blade! lol

Nice one, well worth it! I did the same and ended up having a custom map just to smooth it out as it was running rich at the lower rpm range. Get a custom map done, it doesn't cost the earth and you get to see the magic numbers from the dyno too!!

I went to Moto Corse Racing in Wrexham, so not exactly around the corner for you! But that said, the guy knows his stuff. All I would say is don't listen to the torture that goes on in the dyno room!!

right, opend the bike up, cant believe how easy it is to fit!

just not sure about the TPS - Throttle Position Sensor connector.

    The instructions i have say:

Behind the left upper fairing, behind the rectifier, slightly to the right - The plug comes off downwards...

anyone know if i need to take the upper left panel off to connect this?

Did you download all the maps from Dynojet's website as well as the software?

    I found the maps.

I downloaded the PC III USB Control Center Software - and uploaded the map Apraprovic Full exhaust with aftermarket filter - i think that's what it was called..

Whats the PCIII USB Accelerator Pump Enable - this comes up with an error when i run it..

You lost me on that one mate.

You're best off asking Arthur as he is a mindful of information.

I cant remember how you set it but when you do get it to work start off with about 60% and work upwards.
It enables a little bit more squirt when operating the throttle, only works for about 50 rpm but you,ll feel the difference.

Right...just went for a ride..and that 1st gear scared the hell out of me! think i shall take it easy for a wee while!

K&N's have changed the sound of the engine, flapper mod also helped..bikes ALLOT smoother through out the rev range, not that i really pushed it too hard on the first run..but did get on the motorway... Love it! even more worried about the braking power now...

Took about 4 hours - as i took my time - and enjoyed the install...

    So pics:

Benefit: Makes a lovely growl :D

How to get to it: if memory serves, you basically have to dismantle the airbox to get it out.

Be carful with the acc pump settings as you will cause the bike to bog down if incorrect, have it setup on the dyno as it can give you the run round using trial and error! Also it as said fires a squirt of fuel into the motor when you crack open the throttle it's not based on RPM but number of turns of the motor so very small numbers! It's VERY important you set the TPS once installed so load the software and check your throttle position reads 0 and 100% when twisting the throttle from nothing to fully open if not then calibrate it so it does.. defo gut out the intake as makes a good gain. Also go +2 on the rear and you will be in business. Lol.

Ps... And Ray, you will have your bracket soon :) pps, nice intake....:)

Ive been thinking of getting a pcv for my RR5. I only have a gutted can, +2 rear sprocket & the flapper mod, are the gains that good?

Have you gutted the cat as well or just the box ? De cat'n my bike made more of a power increase than adding a power commander but the power commander made the bike run so much smoother . Depends what your after i guess
