same front end with added air intakes and single light, same wheels with brembo discs and similar mirrors
Although i will not be in the market place it will be great to see a bike like this, i love my 954 Blade and for the road i can not see how you need more, certainly no more power or torque, all that could be added would be the electronic side of things like ABS and traction, but on my trips to work and around about i can not see how i really need them on the normal roads. I can see how these ' Super ' Sportsbikes would sell as they are unique but i see that sales of a lot of sportsbikes are down, especially the 600cc class, what Honda and others need to do is build bikes that the ageing riders want to buy !
Talk is cheap, will wait for the press conference. As for BMW doing any better. What they did was jump the queue. Everyone answers to the board. the primary responsibility is to make money. The japanese release updates every couple of years, trickling down the "latest" tech to keep us interested. If they had introduced a 190hp bike, 6 years ago with traction control, what new would they have to offer today this way they extend their product lifecycle by decades All BMW did was use a japanese bike as their base after hopelessly failing with their concepts of what a bike should be and add what the japanese had in their storage rooms.
Lets just see what Honda offer if they offer a nice V4/V5 super bike. They could easily do one for a similar price to the Ducati flagship and it would likely be far better to ride (unlikely to be better looking)
Erm rc30/45 - baby nc's - nsr250 - plenty of blades - Honda have made some sexy bikes in the past if you ask me
