Really sorry to hear that Jimbo! F*ckin scum bastards they need maimed for life! I just hope they are caught and handed over to some big ass hairy bikers but you just know they'll get a slap on the wrist and told to do some gardening for 20 hours! There no deterrent in this country for scum at worse they get 4 square meals a day, all they're laundry done for them, sky tv, and unlimited access to a gym all of which costs them absolutely Fuck all and us the tax payers millions every year for the privilege! Absolute bollox- my mate yesterday had he's garage broke into at 3pm, house alarm going off, big German Sheppard in the house. GSXR 750 (10 plate, white scheme) and his KTM 250 walked down the road to a lane where it appears van was parked up.

His house is not a million miles from Dartford, police reckon it's prolific in the area at the moment. Keep em pealed.

Sorry to hear that Jimbo, I bet the poor blokes still punishing himself thinking he could’ve done more to prevent it, where the reality is, if they want it they’ll get it. I’d like to think there’s still a chance he’ll get it back and I hope a 100% chance the thieving Cnuts get what’s coming to them. Gutted for him.

Only just come across this jimbo, any news on the bike?
To be honest they don't tend to strip vehicles down these days they are normaly in a crate at the docks before they are even reported missing!
I hope it turns up in the end, and the tossers are caught tho mate

I've just spotted this too. Just a 3 days after the ride out. Gutted for him.

It is worth keeping an eye on ebay. A mate had a bike nicked, a couple of months later some parts turned up on ebay so he contacted the police.

They actually bought the parts so my mate could ID them. Can't say more as the investigation is still on going.

Im really tempted to buy an old Iphone (broke screen etc) just to leave it on the bike when I leave it (under seat, inside fairing etc)
That way I could use apples "find my phone" if it got snatched and track it with no subscriptions or payment plans!
anyone think of a reason why this wouldnt work?

Thanks guys, no news on bike at all - sounds like same fellas who done dave v's mate marks bike, so that won't show up as they seem like pro's. Insurance company is now playing silly buggers so that's his 2012 fcuked! Poor fcuker...

Yep, obviously you woud have to charge the lil bugger all the time, although there does seem to be a few hardwire kits for the iPhone, just not sure whats sort of current it would draw?
