Hi all, Need some new boots and probably getting some Supertech R's again as I have always had Alpinestars boots, but I have had problems with Alpinestars quality, and their service if you have a problem is shocking (3 months for a repair !!!).

Any one have good feedback on any other boots.

(Budget £300) so I cant afford Daytona's unfortunately

As usual thanks for your input :)

I've always worn Sidi boots. I use them on track as well as road, and even after touch down with the tarmac they still hold together well. Comfy too!

I have Supertec R and Sidi Corsa Air. Both great boots and the only reason I am using the Sidi more is they are very vented and great for the warmer weather. But my Alpinestars Supertec are crackign boots. boot my white and black ones for £235 at the NEC show back in Dec

Supertech all the way for me, had all the sidis over the years and whilst they're sturdy I think that's what actually puts me off them nowadays, I get much better movement and feel out of the supertech especially on track and off the bike they're like big squashy moon boots :)

Both are top notch so you'll not got wrong but I'm afraid I'm camped on the Astars side at the mo

Yep supertech r for me too

I'm on my third pair and love them.

Had a bust zip on one pair but otherwise very good quality and no problems.

Supertech R's for me too! only 4 weeks in but already feel like slippers!! the sidi vortice are great boots but i picked the supertechs because you can get them on in 30secs whilst the sidi's are a bit of a faf to do up! only my personal experience...

Thanks to everyone, I have gone with some new supertech R's Black and White £244 delivered next day from ghostbikes so happy now.

I have had supertech R's before but sold them like an idiot when I sold the R1, They are mega comfortable and still one of the best looking boots out there IMO.

Tried some Sidi boots on last night but didnt feel as comfortable as the alpinestars so that swayed it for me.

Thanks again for all your help :)

Two options the black and white I have got are solid leather the all white ones are the vented version with holes in.

You still get some ventilation through the front, as I remember with the solid type, just not as good as the fully vented
