Just had a few texts from Barney, he said he's doing ok after his first batch of Chemo, and wanted to thank the people that have pm'd him. He's keeping an eye on the forum, but is feeling very tired at the moment, which is understandable, so isn't replying to messages at the mo. Good luck to you mate, and the new bike is just round the corner.
We all wish you well Steve ,We have a moan about the weather and work but what you are dealing with is beyond the call of duty so with respect, we look forward to you getting on your feet and giving both the bike and your illness a good beasting.
spoke with Steve this evening - he asked how I was after the 'endo' moment in France - brought it all home how insignificant it is compared to what he is going through just now - he was out walking the dogs, normally a 2 / 3 mile walk - he had 'just' managed 10 mins and was shattered and going home. Said even reading this forum was too tiring at the moment for him but know he will see this in time so chin up mate, that stunning bike is waiting for you...
Thanks for the info Si, Steve your one of lifes good guys, keep fighting the good fight matey, we cant wait for you to get through this and get back to the forum full time all the best Jamie

I gather your Steves` other half? Well, i think on behalf of us all, we think you're a diamond. One, for putting up with the miserable sod, and 2, because you are there for him, and i would like to say, we are there for the BOTH of you. I'm sure we will meet you properly in the near future, and not just a fleeting glance in his van! cheers!
Yes I too concur with Si completely. You do deserve a medal for living with the git. Unless you're his parole officer of course. In that case keep up the good work. Steve, you just put your feet up mate, leave all the hard work to us, we don't mind, honestly. Ken
