Any of you guys fitted the gb racing engine protectors, do they look good? I assume you replace the alternator cover with the slider, any thoughts

I may just buy the pulse cover for now?

Got them on mine and they look great, you just screw them over the top of the existing covers, I got the full set and took me about 10 mins to fit

As above you don't notice then and they just fit over the top. Easy to fit

They may have saved my recent 'endo' in France from being much worse when bike hit kerb on side - hard to tell if it was me or bike (and which parts) that took impact but they are marked on edge.

A 'fit and forget' product you hope you never need - I got mine prior to my first visit to the Alps 'just in case' I dropped it on a wet hairpin - which I did not!

You tend to get a good deal at the NEC show on the full kit.

Just bought mine. Going on bike presently. World Endurance teams from all over the world use them and they love nothing better than lobbing the bike into the scenery. They don't use the r+g stuff!

Ohhh you know .... here n there ... hospital visiting ... playing nurse (and not in a fantasy role play way :p) .. lots of working ..
and lots of modding ... none of that has been easy . It's been an uphill struggle to get to this stage . The only thing easy to fit were the wheels

I've seen you bike, wow that's serious modding, I love the wheels. I've bought a new repsol in your absence, an 11 model but new on a 12 plate, and I would bet I got it for less than the cost of all of your mods?

Nice one Carl ... hope you've managed a good few miles on it between the floods
Most of my mods have been at either discounted prices , or a lot of it came used off eBay at some really good prices.
I even managed a little discount off the wheels to cover the cost of the ceramic bearings and the floating rear disc .
But yur not wrong ... it has been a money pit . Still you only live once so enjoy it is my philosophy :D

I shall certainly do that, Carl. Though I'll not have the bike back for a month or so.

Just bought the full gb racing protection set. I'm not home for 6 weeks, but then I'll fit them and put pictures up

Question for anybody in the know. The ABS model has a large alternator cover on the left hand side can't see how the GB cover could possibly fit?

I have only fitted the GB covers to the Right side due to the Plastic cover on the BAS side.
