Mine are making my gloves dirty, the black-ness is discolouring my red gloves nearly on every ride. Are there any decent after market handle bar grips that can be bought? Dont want anything crap, only if its good.. Anyone?
Progrip but soft and some people seem to grip them tight so they only last a short time, or Renthal (soft, med, hard), or new OEM which I like
thanks guys, thinking i may buy some Oxford sport heated grips - as winter is approaching.. guy here selling them cheap - Hein Gericke stock.. lol Oxford Sports HotGrips Heated Motorcycle Original Hot Grips | eBay
lol at trying to keep the palms of your gloves clean. I have the Oxford Sports HotGrips on my Hornet. The grips feel good, but are very slightly bigger than standard.
I've got the 'Superbike' tagged grips .... they were in the box with the Active fast action throttle . Seem OK ....... but have used Renthal on most of my bikes
Not sure if that color would suite the Repsol..? but found black ones. Renthal Road Race Grips - Demon Tweeks i may just buy it to try..
I don't really care myself what colour goes as long as it feels good and even better when on track heres the best pic I got of them at the moment
I would avoid these as they are a nightmare to operate very fiddly, far better off with the likes of these at half the price: New 12v Heated Motorcycle Handlebar Hot Grip Kit Pair of 7/8 Black Grips | eBay I used them for a year on the CBF and they were fine. Just my pennies worth..
The Oxford grips are easy to operate (with gloves on). One button for on/off, two to cycle 4 power settings.
For me they were footery, plus you had to look at them in order to adjust, the ones i showed were the way oxford originally controlled there's but they decided to update them to a stupid soft button selection. One of these im afraid if it aint broke dont fix it! The original control you can adjust without taking your eye off the road.. Think these ones you showed were a bit better like you say JM1 as they have the rubber buttons, there was a time they opted for the ones that were flush mounted and it was those that were a nightmare.. Still good grips but not as good value as others i think..
