It’s that time again, just got to remember to not drink so much before eating something this time. Fish fingers crinkle chips and beans sounds quite nice.

I do like my fishy fingers. I was out at a very expensive swanky sea food restaurant in Mannheim with some important clients, our previous CEO and my director. Whilst browsing the menu I was asked what my favourite fish was. When I said fish fingers I thought the CEO was going to choke on his gin and tonic and my bosses face was a picture. Shouldn’t ask the question if you don’t want to hear the answer should they, the clients thought is was hilarious, which made our anal contingent even more uncomfortable.

I'm back a couple of weeks now from a fortnight in Corfu, jevus, it was hot. I actually tried to make a float that would keep my face out of the water if I tried to sleep in the pool. It was the only place we could be comfortable outside.

was still pretty hot in rhodes too, geting into low 30s most days. prefer going a bit later as way too hot in mid summer. spent a few weeks in tuscany in 2008. early july. far too hot! loads to see but to tiring due to the heat. expect it will be pretty cool in portugal as were of to a villa on the silver coast facing the atlantic:eek:.as usual i will attempt to eat the entire seabed. just love my seafood!

We saw 42 on a couple of days, 33 to 36 on the others. On the Thursday and Friday of the last week it thundered and pissed down which brought the temp down to 26. Lol.

Nice Stella chased with a bottle of wine going on here.
All good, apart from work in the morning. 04.30 and dark mornings really don't do it for me any more.
But on a plus side, it will soon be Sunday, I'll raise a glass to that :)

Cheers everyone. To your week end, may the Viagra be with you ;)

Thanks Gaz. Me and John Daniels are sitting here about to watch the Jeff Lynne story on BBC 4. Most excellent nostalgia.

Feck me, that's just wrong. Still, a well aimed shot could take out the both of them with one shot and save a quid. Jeanette said what room is Strictly on in and I said the furthest one from my location. I will have to fight that particular corner until Christmas now.

Ken, you'll have to teach me how to do that...... I've lost... only the laptop and a bottle of wine are saving me from the horrors of Strictly!

You have to work on projecting your hatred in a non threatening but borderline psychotic way. When you get it right, everyone around you just melts away.

The problem with that is, my missus can do "psychotic" WAY better than I can......

    ...... more wine should help.

The real trick is 'less is more'. Try and look through your eyebrows...........Okay, now I'm starting to scare myself.

Ha ha, I took the passive route, one eyed squint at fatty Fern, then that was me spark out, snored through it all apparently. God bless the Friday night sized wine glasses.
