stunning looking bike! was shopping in falkirk town centre earlier and there it was sitting outside a shop gleaming in the sunshine. i sat on one at the nec last year but to see it outside, much as i love my blade i would seriously like one of these, practical? its too early to change bikes as i,m usually every second year
Stunning bike fella, I was torn big time when I bought the blade, made the mistake of listening to my head. Might have missed the mv boat now for a while....
Mmmmmmmm. I am really starting to like this, I had almost made my mind up to get a Panigale next spring when it was launched, but reading about all the problems I am stroking my chin and looking around. The MV stand will be a port off call at the NEC this year. I don’t think you can get it with ABS though, and not sure I want to go back to a non ABS tool. Having said that and given I have hardly ridden my blade this year due to the weather and this poxy back problem maybe I should just hang onto it for another year.
Hi Freedom, you need a S1000RR in your life. I wish I knew the HP4 was coming because I would have waited and bought that instead
Hi Brian. Hope you and the other half are all good. Funny you should mention the above. James sent me some information about the HP4 last week. If you look at the below link. I posted it up for all to see. Makes interesting reading which is more than could be said about James's px value on mine, although to be fair to him he did say he would off set that with a price reduction on HP4 meaning its still worth exploring after I have test ridden the standard S1000RR which has offered to lend me (if my bloody back ever gets better) Dinner again some time ? http://1000rr.co.uk/other-bikes/7053.htm
I like the MV as well as the HP4. Maybe Honda will come up with something, if not, the race for them will be over like for Suzuki at the moment. The MV has to have ABS and a better traction control like the Aprilia Factory 2013. Intermot: 2013 Aprilia RSV4 Factory ABS - Motorcycle news: New bikes - Visordown
I agree with all you say, but I think the likes of suzuki and Honda will carry on as they are because not everyone has £14-16k for a new sports bike but can afford a 10k bike on a good finance deal. We all want and lust after these bikes but I fear the more technology they fit the further the bikes move from the grasp of your average biker
