Well as most of you know I am selling the blade and was going to use the funds to buy a fast car, well the bike is still in the garage ;) but all the bling has gone to new homes! ................................

So I got bored and could not stand the 2.0 mondeo LX petrol I have been running anymore, its a good reliable car but it was always going to be a stop gap.

So in intrim while the bike is sold I have bought a sensible little car to potter about in a little BMW 535i V8 M Sport Individual :) I love you can buy one of these for just over two grand :)

    What you think guys ?

It's a bit understated for you JC, but I'm certain that wont last.

I am getting 30-33 mpg on a run, which amazes me lol around town is more like 19-20 but I only use it to cruise upto Bristol once a week so it is doing me proud at the moment :) and its so comfortable its unreal, oh and the V8 soundtrack is so addictive lol

Already thinking the M5 would be a nice replacement in 6 month - 1yr, with prices dropping recently ??? I need help I think !

Maybe I am turning into a grown up ???

It was a sad day Fez :( but I took the bike out after and I an still in love with it, if I have to keep it as it is I wont be upset. I just refuse to give it away for peanuts !! some of the offers have been laughable !!

Agreed there Fez, I'm not desperate to get rid.

The mods really did tweak the perfection, it's amazing how much I still love it standard going back, thought it would be terrible but its not its still fantastic :)

Had an estate or touring version and loved it, the interior is such a nice place to be and the only car I miss.

The E39 Beemer is fabulous... I've got a 528 Sport and still love it after 3 years... your one looks stunning!

If you're after a friendly forum to help you out try bmwland.co.uk... the helpful chaps there have saved me hundreds over the years.

Thanks gappy will give it a whirl :) already changed all the brakes and fixed the dash pixels and had rear bumper off to replace the rear parking sensors :) I am hoping that there will be less to do now she is all up and running.

Still not a blade but much more comfortable on the weekly commute ;)
