Just for fun .Any of yow track jockeys know what it would be like to ride fast b roads on slicks.Or would you be on your arse within minutes ?
Unless you are a complete nutter (which you may be ?) I doubt you would be able to keep enough heat in them to work at there best
You would be on your arse within 5 min as the tyres would be stone cold within the first few minutes after taking off the tyre warmers. Even on track, unless you are pushing extremelly hard in the corners the tyres would lose heat. Let me know when your planning your ride so I can pop around to watch the mayhem..................LOL!!! Also you may have a problem with boy racers slowing you down...................... Just out of interest, when was the last time you rode at some speed down a B raod and felt the tyres loose grip and thought to yourself "I could really do with a set of slicks....................I would be at least 40mph faster along this road!!!!"
Yep they wouldn't work on the road as mentioned. You really need to get heat into them to work The treaded version of NTec and supercorsa Etc are the same compound As the slick just with a tread pattern The tread pattern is there to create heat by allowing the rubber to move around, rather than a tread to disperse water.
