Don't know but get a had guard and the after market hunger included in the deal.
Then get a quick shifter or it may feel just like your current bike.

What's wrong with the 09? Exact same model as mine and I wouldn't dream of chopping it in for the new one. It's too like for like for me

The 12 has quite a few improvements.
What features would make you want to change your bike?

Don't get me wrong I like the new Blade and the improvements it comes with, I guess for me though it's justifying the extra cash for something that's not too different. I would have kept my extra cash and waited for the 2014 model.

Do we know if the 2014 model is going to be a ' real ' step forward with the bike rather just a tweak which it appears the 2013 bike is ? Is there any info out there that leads us along this line ?

Don't know if it will replace the fireblade or not but Honda has finally admitted the V4 sportbike and it should be here by 2014.

The V4 is a moto gp bike for the road and will cost about £40,000 its not a blade replacement who know's what 2014 will bring, the 2013 bike does have a few changes from my 09 model all the panels are different better mid range, new clocks, new suspension, new wheels awsome paint job what more would you want.
Traction control is your right wrist,

Cheers for that. I hadn't read that until just now lol. Yea no in the V4.
Agreed with traction control is in your wrist. One of the reasons I like the fireblade

Yes it will, no problem, if it's the yoshi you can also fit the cover but will need to fit it slightly further forward and drill a new hole on the bottom left.
Use the top hole to mount to frame with the belly pan screw.
