What is worse is that I am a Technical Author, I write Ship and Aircraft manuals.

So my writin should be well good in it ! I is well shocked I could make a mistake like that. I is so so upset now.

Maybe I need to go back to skool........ :) What you think nutty ?

And sorry miss, I have been a very naughty boy.....;) lol

I just want to add my name is Jamie. I am a compulsive bling buyer and it has been 13 hours since I last bought something for my blade.

So your not alone in your OCD :)

I have a soft spot for ` a cup of tea(proper tea you could stand your spoon in, not hot milk) & i also like to have a biscuit with it. Not very exciting i know, but , like me it`s simple. By the way , just because i like biscuits, doesn`t mean that i weigh 32 stone & live on takeaway`s.
I`ve got nothing against people that weigh 32 stone either . I feel as though i`m digging myself a `big` hole with this conversation. Time to bail out!:sarcastic:

Good call 't', when you're in a hole, stop digging.

    Great recovery by the way.

I'm with you on the strong tea. I stopped drinking it about 30 years ago because nobody could seem to pour me a decent cup. It's much harder to balls up black coffee, my replacement weapon of choice.

A friend of mine has just left and left me a present for sorting some prints for him. A biography by Peter McManus of Chris Harrison A Rolls Royce engineer who raced bikes and flew Mosquitos during the war called "Motor Cycles, Merlins and Mosquitos"

Well there goes the rest of the weekend...

I'm sorry Nutty, I didn't think to check as I don't use Vista much. I've just tried this version on Mrs Ken's Vista laptop and it works.

Image Resizer PowerToy Clone for Windows | Download Image Resizer PowerToy Clone for Windows software for free at SourceForge.net

Once installed just right click on the icon of the image you want and you will see a new command "resize image". Click it and you'll be given a series of size options, the smallest should be fine for here. It will make a copy of the original in the same folder with it's new size as part of the filename so there's no danger of overwriting the larger version. Then just upload in the usual way.

Looking forward to the new pictures.

    Ken

I ususally spend Monday to Friday 8:00 to 17:00 sat infront of three PC's putting right other peoples photography. It makes a pleasant change to help somebody that I actually choose to.

know what you mean about writing it like you think it though. I just realised in another thread that I've just compared somebody to the weight of your can! That can't be right, can it

Exactly, different strokes. I'd melt down if I was presented with Nutty's new exhaust system and a socket set and told to get on with it, but ask me to forge the Mona Lisa...

By the way, probably better if you didn't...

Yes it does, but not on it's face.

Clever bastard, Leonardo. Invented the motorbike. Unfortunately it had Italian electrics so it never caught on.

Right then... It looks like this thread has run out of steam, so I'd like to thank everyone who's taken part and I think that not only has it helped us all learn a little bit more about each other but also made us glad that we're all separated by hundreds of miles.

    X
