I struggle with counting upto and down from 6  so this thread gave me an idea. I like the looks of the GiPro and want to ask how easy is it to install, what has to be removed from the bike to run the harness through to under the seat (assuming it connects under the seat) and for a C-ABS model is the connector available for it to plug into?

    Billo01,
As Repsol Rob has said, it's easy peasy ;) it's no different on the C-ABS model to fit, I fitted one to my C-ABS at the weekend.
The red plug you connect it into, sits on the left hand side (clutch side) under the seat by the battery.
The tricky part is running the cable making sure it's tucked away nice and neat.
I'll take pictures if it helps when I get home tomorrow.

Yup its easy peasy just as barry says . The red block connector is easy to find under the loom wires just by the battery .
Feed the wire nice n neat then plug in . Small set up by riding through the gears ................ done

Here is a photo of mine when it was fitted....
Dead easy. I took the tank cover off to hide the cables.
It's currently sat on the shelf with all the other bits ready to be sold!

Thanks all for the replies. Sorry samuk for hijacking your post, but a useful post for me all the same!!

Barry107 - yeh if you could do this with pics it would be much appreciated by myself and I'm sure cbr1 too. If i go for the GiPro any recommended outlet to purchase from?

    Cheers

I have just done a search on Bikers discount store GIpro DS Series Gear Indicators.
It returns the same code for a GIPro for both 2005 and 2011 blades.
Check it yourself matey just to be sure.

On my RR5 the DLC (data link connector) that you plug the GiPro into is behind the left upper fairing and not under the seat, I spent ages looking under the seat after looking at other forums lol. So check there :)
