just printed this for a customer. It seems even the general public have heard he's selling his 'Blade and have begun to ostracise him.
Could be Megs. I know we crossed the coast just sarf of London, but I saw it out the port side window and I'd swear it was nearer the coast, but all I could see were the towers and the wires poking out of the fog. You got any similar bridges near you but nearer the sea?
It is indeed guys, I have a sort of affinity with this bridge having been around when it was being built, in fact I have a few pics somewhere that I took at the time.
my dads mate Pat was an engineer on it - on the opening day he filtered to the front of the que and roared across the bridge on his Yam XJ1300 (i think that was his bike at the time) - first man across the QE2 bridge was indeed a biker!! lol
I went across that bridge for the first time this weekend, its very impressive......... The Humber Bridge does have the edge on it though.... and not nearly as many foreign lorrys on it.
Can't think of any more big suspension bridges in the southeast. I do like bridges. Remember the one in Japan, that moved 1metre during the Kobi earthquake. Didn't phase em though. And of course the Milau bridge, designed by a Brit.
You would if you were a Devon farmer. Personally, I'd rather look at the badger than a bunch of inbred, neanderthal whingers anyday. Ooops, I might have just alienated another demographic, with one of my sweeping generalisations there. Never mind. They'd have to learn to read before they could work out the computer anyway.
Olympics security So there I am, quietly taking some pics of the Bridge during the Olympics when from nowhere comes this boatload of security personnel headed straight towards me. Either they were posing or they thought I was a sniper lol.
