It's an ex BSB system actually been used on one of the Honda Plant bikes (hows that for kudos) but the can is brand new .

As I have a couple of trackdays booked for September (ARD and Snetterton) I thought I had better fit a baffle . As luck would have it the
Leo Vince baffle fitted right in ... so I drilled a hole in the back of the carbon cover then through the outlet pipe to take the small bolt that
holds it in place . So Bobs yur uncle ... a BSB system with optional baffle

 

That did get my attention HaHa... That is lovely kit .. I want it all

 

Now thats a proper piece of kit. Like all good woman you did a great job on cleaning them up as well. lol

Hi Si .. I fitted these hoses this weekend and have one short fat straight hose left over .. any idea where it goes?

 

Was yours the HRC Kit with the extra hose?

 

Oooo don't know about that .... I got my set cheap off eBay new not fitted

 

Here you go ... after many set backs the BSB system is fitted and sounds ohh so sweet .. dunno if it is possible (or figment of my imagination) but it seems to rev so much quicker . The headers are a lot fatter than standard so maybe it does :unsure:








After all the messing about and just when I thought I was on the 'home run' the right side panel went on no probs .. but when I offered up the left panel MAJOR malfunction .. it was resting on the pipes as they lay differently (as you can see) to the standard set up ... As for the undertray HAH!!!! not a hope in hell .
So I began trimming the cut away under the pipes . In the end I had to cut it in half and use a strip of carbon to bridge the gap . Its about 2 inches wider now and has the knock on effect of moving the left panel away from the pipes . Then as an extra safety I lined that side with some reflective heat cloth that I had left over from the RG500 . Claims to reflect 90% radiant heat .
I think I have to do a little more finishing yet to make it spot on .. but I decided to go for a ride out and met up with magawatt at Rye .
