Hi there anyone know the oversized pin i need for a headstock stand for a 2012 cbr1000rr. i think its 21mm not too sure i reckon be same as 08-12 . Tried the pin 18mm but still too small like a maggot in a prozzers m***ge.

    Cheers

    Hey,
We had a pin made to 23mm to fit the headstock on a 2010 model. Not sure if this has been altered on the 2012 tho.
    But hope this helps.

Hi, all this talk of front stands today!

Did this pin size get confirmed? Is the 23mm same for 08-11 and the 12?

    Thanks

I brought a 21mm it's too small 23mm would be perfect I think but my stand hits the nose cone so I give up

I had that issue too on my 08, so I bought a stand that supports the fork bottoms instead.

Not yet Steve - bit strange, but I've waited longer than this before. Will let you know as soon as I receive it.

I only ask because i sent Ahmed his GI Pro the same day, in the same way and he hasnt got it yet.
They were both first class so i cant understand why its taking so long.

Me too ... I have put a piece of carbon tube over my pin so it now lifts perfectly without touching the nose cone .... sorted

Yes 23mm ideal, 24mm will fit but very tight.
I cut the end off at about 30deg so it clears the nose and mudguard.
