To expand on what Barney and I discussed. A 10" x 8" 80 page book of the event can be made up by Blurb for just over £30. I use them and the quality is spot on and it appears on your doorstep about a week after uploading.

Ok I've managed to find somewhere to stay in Fort William for the second night. Not as swanky as the first hotel but the price reflects it. Let me know what you guys think. Its not in Fort William - but 14miles away at Spean Bridge surprise surprise... All depends if people want to be 'in town' for the Sat night or not fussed about eating / drinking at the hotel. It could be worth speaking with the hotel direct to check the rooms available match needs - i.e. not too many double beds / are pull out / 3rd bed where listed oK for an adult. Often a 'family room' is double bed plus pull out kids bed - one to check. Other option / idea is to split group for hotel choice in Fort William but all meet for dinner / drinks etc. - may make locating accom. much easier?
Actually - on reading the reviews it will be an interesting hotel with the history of the area - I am sure we will visit the commando memorial up the road on the way past - very moving place and worth seeing. Good find Colin - next one is Moffat for Sunday night!
Ok this is what I was thinking about for the final nights stay. I know a few will want to head off, but for those who want to stay another night in the borders where I do a lot of my riding, there is a Hotel which properly cares for bikers, they have bike storage units on the premises I think this will make a perfect end to the trip and a fairwell from us all. I've sent an email to the enquiring about a nights stay on the Sunday. I'll also give them a call tomorrow to see if we can get booked in. It really is a proper biker haven.
