Wasn't planning on changing the Blade for a few year but stumbled across a 2011 S1000RR with ultra low miles at a cracking price. Deposit left subject to viewing at the weekend! Hope I am making the right decision.

They are belting bikes - I'd be tempted by a 2012 one with the de-tuned / re-tuned engine. The 2010 one I rode felt a bit gutless in the mid range and know they worked hard on that for the 2012 revisions.

Scary high main dealer labour rates for any specialist work mind!

Deal off! Bike only had 900 miles but had odd budget rear tyre and chain and sprockets really dirty no service book to verify mileage so walked away with my deposit. Really disappointed!

You did well by spotting a fundamental error of a dubious dealer who tried selling it to you.Sounds like it was clocked or smashed and repaired.Pat yourself on the back cos it could of been a rogue bike. There are plenty out there especially as winter is upon us.
