Anyone else tried to buy anything today using paypal? I've tried buying something online and the payment hasn't went through. Just shows Pending in recent history. Normally I'd say it was maybe just my account, but a friend has had the same problems today.
Worked ok for me earlier today, and istill works now, tho I notice they have changed their front end.
My mate just checked. They have apparently changed it for faster payments as of the 28th, but there are some people experiencing problems, just my luck I'm one of them.
they are doing payments via bank draft as priority mine was messed up as I hadn't got a verified account. got it all sorted in the end.....and just bought a sticker tonight so I know it works.
Mine was via bank draft and I have a verified account. It seems as thought they are doing random security checks on accounts. (according to the big bad web) Not too worried I have already contacted the seller to organise other means of payment. It's just a pain in the asre. I use paypal most of the time.
oh yeah...forgot about that.got mine about a month ago. went to buy something and I was blocked.was a pain in the rear and I wrote them a nice reply to the question they sent saying what did I think of the security check.if they have done this to you they should have sent you a email with the link to unlock the account.
Only reason I ask is that some sellers have chosen settings where they need to accept the payment, this says pending until they accept it
Just checked it after your post. No mail, but I'll phone tomorrow to get it cleared and cancel the payment. I'll pay using the credit card till it's sorted.
it sits pending then as soon as the security check is done it sends the money thats what happened me. think its the resolution or security tab. you confirm your bank card number address and also they tell you that you have to change your password. to confirm your address I added a landline that they sent a pin to for me to enter.
