Did anyone else that has these had a problem with fitting them ?

I've got all the brackets on but the shield touches the can, I've fiddled about with the can and the shield but it still touches.

Did anyone take off the middle bracket of the exhaust link pipe to give a bit more play or anything else or am I just going to have to settle with the shield touching the can ?

Well mine never touched the Leo when it was fitted or the Akrapovic that replaced it .

Perhaps you should loosen the exhaust clamps bolts ... give it a jiggle and re-tighten them .

    Just a thought

check for clearance give it a jiggle and re-tighten lol

The leo can is different to the akra where it joins the link pipe, the akra has the taper but the leo is straight. That taper section on the akra seems to make the gap.

I'll have a good wiggle of the can and link pipes and see

Can you not cut the carbon out to make a better fit and offer more clearance around the can ? I think I would rather do that than have the shield at a slight angle to the belly pan.
