Wheel bearing removal 2010 blade

    What's the best way to remove them and the seals?? Just a hammer and a drift bar? Would like to re use them again as possible

    Yes, would not reuse them as you could easy have an unseen crack in the shells! I have a nice oval SnapOn drift set...perfek for the job!

    Just like you say. Knock them out then raplace them with new'uns.

    Best place to get new bearings and seals then? Best to stick with genuine honda ones?

    Any good bearing co online mate, it pains me to say but there are better bearings than OEM on the market, ceramics even... Nothing wrong with OEM though..

    I can get Honda parts at discount prices through work so may price them there first!
    Looking at parts breakdown it shows 3 bearings for rear wheel( not including sprocket carrier) this right?? 2 on the disc side??

    I thought it strange the list shows 2x no, 22 which is a 6205 and 1x no.21 which is a 6005?

    I agree but strange to have 2 bearings side by side! Guess I'll know when i take them out!

    Yeah you'll find out...lol A good few do run two together mate but mostly on the drive side and then another in the carrier others two in the carrier and so on, you just can't tell....lol

    Looking at another parts site, it just lists one each side!!! Time will tell!

    Well that was easy! One hammer one bar, 5 mins later bearings out happy days!!
