I must be getting old as I find my r77 to loud! After about 20 odd miles it just annoys me. So I've fitted the baffle in the hope it will make it a little more bearable.
You old tart. Am thinking of making a switchable baffle so early risers don,t wake family and neighbours first thing in the morning. Gonna be quiet on start up and after going 100 yards, lean back , flick a sprung lever and you have full flow through the race baffle. Gonna take some work though.!!!
Riding when it's cold with heated gloves is a lot better than parking the bike in September and not riding it again until May!!!
my baffles will be going in next year but only for noise regs on trackdays. Any tips on how to put in the screw on the r77 as it's a right bitch. hole on the left hand side, carbon infill then having to line it up to the baffle without dropping it into the end infill not fun
i,ve had my baffle in since fitting the can (r77 also) as find it runs cleaner low end too and has a nicer tone too it.
Is it an M6 Allen screw Matt. Hold it on allen key with a blob of silicone or a strip of sticky tape stretched over thread, so that thread pokes through tape.
I have heated grips on my other bike and they're great. I also have another hand warming mod I'll post a pic of when I can be bothered
