Not so much the bike this week, but me :)
Picked up a Knox Aegis 8 plate back protector and some kevlar jeans on Saturday.

The back protector stopped me slouching and I had a more positive ride as a result.
Plus the jeans kept my knees nice and warm so it's the first time in a while I was out in 3 degrees without freezing my nuts off :)

How come, are your nuts down to your knees?
You must try that nut bra mentioned in another thread :-D

    Happy B'day.

Took mine out for a blast today while its not too cold. Ended up at Cadwell (again) although it was dead, not surprising really considering the weather.
Not sure i wanna put mine to bed just yet, but gave it a good clean and lube just in case.

Took bike out fired her up rode her about a mile before the front calipers seized on. Loosened brake nipples fluid everywhere , pushed it back the house , into garage back onto stands and cover back on :(
Will deal with it when I`ve stopped sulking lol ;)

Just finished putting the rexpeed pillion adapter things on. Took me about 2hrs and obviously looks miles better without the pillion pegs.
Won't put pics up as you all know what they look like :)

Yeah I wasn`t even at 30mph , strange sensation though with the loss of power and the front just kept dipping ! . Got it home eventually . Been told to check out my aftermarket brake lever as it could be a problem with that. So that will be first on the elimination list :D

That's why all the pubs closed early here yesterday.

Should have given us a shout Dave. There'd have been a roast dinner in it for you.

I have some how managed to get 3500 miles in so far this year  and I only ride in dry conditions too but
Reckon being self employed must have something to do with it too lol
Sunday was nice here too and we managed a nice ride out, not to cold but nice and dry, just a bit to much Damn salt around though :(
Had just given her an oil and air filter change and needed to test her out lol, any excuse :D

I thought about Sunday Simon but circumnavigated Rutland water on the mountain bike instead, the roads never completely dried out so I was not too bothered, where did you venture?

We took A15 to wheels at Peterborough and had chat, burger and tea there, there were quite a few there :)
A15 was dry as its a main road but yeah, country lanes never really dry out this time of year
I used to mountain bike round Rutland water a few years ago, but had a walk around there a few:confused:
Weeks ago and was surprised to see all the gravel tracks had been tarmaced

Pillion footrests gone, and that looks better:) Also fiddled about with the gealever pivot to take out all the play, used some thin coper washers to shim the bolt , but dunno how long it will stay snug for.
