I'm going to transform my road bike to a track bike over the winter and have seen all the race fairings on eBay. But is there a better option for me and my 08 Blade other than eBay.
I have spent months reading and asking what track fairing to get or my 2011 blade, I don't get it until after the NEC show but ANR racing an CNC firing come top for quality, fit etc....
Handy to know - so how much are you talking for a full set inc stock rear subframe? will be buying some soon... and like remal, was looking at anr or you guys.
ha ha - i knew crc are on here, i assumed he run the firm!? not sure now? looks like £500 inc vat agains the £360 for ANR... they prob are beteer but how good do you need them for track? and i've heard the ANR are good. although i want black as a base colour so the exra ££ might be saved on a spray up lol
ANR have a good rep, they supply the Haslam School with their fairing. I bought a second hand set of the school fairing on ebay (£100) they are pretty much the same style as stock other than the rear and the nose cone obviously so you can keep the side stand which suited my needs at the time, however now the bug has hit I will be getting a CRC full race set including the airtubes (at extra cost). Have heard that CRC are the one of if not the best on the market so reason why I have chosen them, but agree with other comments it all depends on your budget, what you want and whether you think you need the best or not (dont think i need the best but just a flash git). only thing to remember with full race ie enclosed belly pan is that you will need to cut to use side stand or remove the stand and have a paddock stand or wall or mate to stand there and hold the bike for you . Pretty sure ANR do it in a black gel coat aswell as thats what mine are but might be worth enquiring...
So if we have say 3 on this thread who are looking at possible CRC fairings and they are on the thread. group discount? might be worth pointing them this way before anyone buys the fairings
Look forward to their reply, I've seen them offering 5% previously on other forums (just for being on forum I think) hopefully they can do better on group buys...say 50% lol (if only!!)
I work for the ANR-TSS supersport team so obviously I'm good friends with Andy from ANRthe last time I got someone a set of blade fairings for £250. I've had a word with him and he is still prepared to do the kits for around this price not inc postage
He also does the air tubes ill check on price, Lets get a count up for people who want fairings and ill have a word
