OK never bought one or fitted. first are they easy to fit?

next what is the best one to look at, quality and bling wise lol

the bikes never out of my sight so thinking it would be handy for filling up and at track days

Anyone have one on their blade?

    cheers all

Harris for me as well. Piece of cake to fit and likewise bikes never left anywhere for long enough for someone to notice it and be prepared with a syphon and can to pinch the fuel.

I'm guessing fitting is the reverse of removing the standard one, three allen key bolts on filler cap (others are dummies) put the key in filler cap and undo it, should then pop straight off. Harris would then bolt straight on.

I'm going Harris option myself, lightech do one as well quite a bit more though if I remember... Similar or the same as what Checa was using on the Duc in WSBK. Best option is to get down to NEC and visit the Harris stall some great deals to be had! Just don't take the mrs like I did, only got to buy 1 thing!!

never heard that before? strange that it would be a fail a it's not like it will prevent the bike from running, well unless the fuel was nicked but you don't leave a bike with the quick release if thats going to happen

had the harris carbon on on mine, passed MOT with it.

heres the rules also MOT TEST INFORMATION 2.1 Steering Control

    also noted is

Reasons for failure related to filler cap:

    2.
    a. Fuel tank cap does not fasten securely
. by a positive means, and
. such that pressure is not maintained on the sealing arrangement

    b. fuel cap sealing washer torn, deteriorated or missing, or a mounting flange/sealing method defective such that the leakage of fuel is possible.

Nothing about it needing to be lockable.
