I have a HRC RR7 and not really up for modifying the hugger, any advice on changing to a 55?

Does the 55 profile tyre catch on the 07 model ?

There is plenty of room using a 55 profile on the 08+ model

Run the 55 rear,if the tyre comes close to the hugger then slip a washer under the 2 outter screws and it,ll clear. It,s not normally a problem unless you,ve gone up a few teeth at the rear which tends to bring the rear wheel nearer the front thus allows the tyre to foul the top edge of the hugger.

Better turn in due to higher rear end. Same sort of idea as jacking up the rear a little.

Although believe slightly less stable at speed and leant over.

But think you'd be splitting hairs and I'd question if many of us could push it to it's limits on the majority of road riding we do? All I know is they 'feel' much better and responsive IMO

Interesting to see what you think of them. They came fitted to mine when I got it and I'm pleased with them, no dramas got around 3500 out the rear but it took a beating riding up to the IOM from Cornwall and back.
