Could do with a little help if poss gents

Just started fitting my braided lines, got the back on ok but not impressed with the rubber housing sizes as they're very small in comparison to the stock lines and as a result the clips to hold the lines to the swingarm are too big and they wriggle around in the large void not being filled , is that how everybody elses are?

The we get to the front, I'm not sure but I believe I'm missing a holding bracket.

Whilst facing the bike from the front on the left hand side there's the 3 way connector which will obviously now be redundant, that connects to the mudguard but if I replace that line with the HEL there's no way of connecting it up apart from just using a tie wrap. The right hand side has a bracket but I'll be missing one for the left.

Again is that right or am I missing a part?

Any ideas where to get a bracket from?

Most braided lines don't come with holding brackets mate. just fit em .. I bought little holds from a bike show for mine that bolted to the hols left by the brackets for the standard lines.

If you look at race bike pics the lines are just free running.

Dan's right. There's no additional fixing brackets supplied. I've got HEL lines on my '06 and the second line loops over the mudguard no problem. You'll definitely notice the difference in braking power at the front.

Same as above, I took mine off my 07 Blade and fitted them to my 11 plate, i just looped mine on the front, you can get smaller brackets if you really want them though, try halfords

I've got two full length lines on the front so no looping over I'm afraid, looks like I'll just be tie wrapping it then :)

Same as mine mate, just run them down from the cylinder, then loop them before they bolt onto the calipers

Well lines fitted yesterday, again for future reference so not to cover the same ground you can actually use the clip further up the stock lines nearer the lower triple clamp. If you remove that and use it on the right hand side(left if facing) where you've removed the 3 way junction from stock then you can just tie wrap both lines together (loosely) out of sight in the same place you've just taken that clamp from.

Rear line is still a touch loose though so will pm you Dan :)

Another thing I could recommend is to buy a large syringe and rubber tube, you can then syringe out the old fluid from the top, after fitting the lines use new fluid and syringe up from the bottom and it helps push up any air bubbles to the resi and that'll gentle fill from the bottom up. Do both sides and then bleed as normal (all 3 points one after another)

Seemed (touch wood) to go quite well ;)
