I hope he does but if a 7 time champ can't manage to get the Merc running well at the front lets Hope Lewis can

yeah but with due respect to Mr MS, he is over the hill and should have stayed Retired imho, where as Lewis is still in his prime, I'm sure a young MS would have done much better in the Merc?

is Nico not a ver talented and younger driver? OK with brawn at the helm they should do well together with lewis. How many times has lewis won? once? and he's been in a better car than most of the others since racing in F1?

red bull have only been together 8 years and vettle's won 3 times.

I hop lewis will do well but feel he's taken a step back for money

Hamilton would have won too had he been in a red Bull, lets face, F1 winning since early 90 is all about who has Adrian Newey designing cars for them, it seems to me  :D
As long as he has a good driver, he doesn't lose much, does he ;) Williams, Mclaren and now red Bull have all had the Newey Magic
I have lost a lot of faith in F1 these days, much prefer BIKE RACING :D

    1992 – Williams FW14B
    1993 – Williams FW15C
    1994 – Williams FW16
    1996 – Williams FW18
    1997 – Williams FW19
    1998 – McLaren MP4/13
    2010 – Red Bull RB6
    2011 – Red Bull RB7
    2012 – Red Bull RB8

So not sure LH has much change at Merc, unless they have been having talks with Adrian lol ;)

I don't think so about Hamilton and Red Bull. It's like to say , that all of the top driver, including Schuhmacher could be World Champion 2012 in a RedBull Team. What about Webber ?
F1 it's likely to be boring again with all the rules which some of them swap over to MotoGP in 2013.
Even so, Bike Racing including Street Racing like TT etc. it's much more interesting to watch.

what about Webber? he is not as good as Alonso, Hamilton or Vettel, if he was he would have been a world champion too?
I do agree with your remark about Bike racing though :D

Don't forget Massa, I don't know why Ferrari still keeps him. Maybe they need a "second best driver" in their team.
But like you wrote, it's about the car in the first place and then the driver. The Merc is too far behind , even with magic R. Brawn.

It's been the best F1 season for years. Hamilton will get the best out of the Mercedes. The McLaren was a good car , but unreliable. I don't think McLaren gave Lewis the car that he needed to win and he has had some bad luck with other drivers taking him out!

yeah I totally agree on that, but will be interesting to see if Hamilton can extract more from it than the others did?

I'd rather boil my eyes than watch F1. I can barely watch MotoGP, especially with Stoner on his way.

Used to love watching rugby, boxing and 500cc GP's. Cannot stand golf and don't really like football. These days I spend most of my time being a grumpy, middle-aged git. People say I do it well. I just say I'm prepared to put the hours in.
