Ordered mine from bikers discount store on Thursday afternoon and received it Friday morning ....... How quick is that !
Will try to give Biker discount a call later on regarding a group discount. Any one else have any ideas/contacts with regards to a group discount?
Managed to secure a reasonable discount. Also discount available on GPS lap timer. Been asked not to publish discount prices on open forum as will be seen on google searches etc. Therefore some discretion required. Please PM me if your interested.
I can post a pic of what the red display looks like if anyone wants? Its the GIpro a/TRE one though on my Suzuki but gives you an idea.
Yes please, that would be helpful. Also would it be possible fir someone to post a pic of the blue one? Many thanks Rich
I have just fitted a yellow one and can say it really suits the blades colour display, I would say it is identical to the low fuel light colour and blends in with the rest of the display very nicely especially when fitted just right of the tachometer .... Would think it was factory standard ! Had a blue one on my fixer 1000 which looked ok as it was a blue bike, but really stood out?? And on my R1 I fitted a White one which again suited the colour of the display and looked factory standard ..... Hope this helps, but it's just my opion and if everyone was the same ....... Blah ...... Etc
Hi gents following the tread with interest. Please explain the basic fitting of the unit for an 2011 bike. Thanks Mike.
I fitted my GI in about 15 mins, 1. You remove the tank cover, lift the tank up and remove the seat. 2. Stick on the velcro where you want to position the GI. 2. Route the GI cable with the bike cables already routed, pass the cable under the tank to the battery area. 3. Find the red capped diagnostic port on the left side of the battery area. 4. Remove the red cap, plug in the GI, ty wrap it all neatly and refit the bits in step 1. 5. The gear learning process is much the same as the acumen, you need a paddock stand or a long empty road to set the unit up but very easy to do and instructions are supplied. Hope this helps
