GBRacing full stock protection kit purchased

As the title says, just purchased a full set of gbracing protection kit. My repsol is abs so the left side won't fit, which is a bit disappointing, but never mind. (on that note, will be selling that side if anyone is interested, if not, it'll just have to go on eBay). I'm out of the UK till January, but I'll get some pics up when I've fitted them.

 

I've got ABS and have bought the GBR kit but have not got around to putting it on. Why will left side not fit, shipmate?

 

I reckon it's because of the plastics that covers the ABS gubbins on that left side. Take the covers off and you'll be met with ABS stuff so the GBR stuff won't fit unless you take the ABS system off....I think?

 

I was thinking of getting these for my ABS, are there any other options to protect the left side.

 

Yeh me too. I don't think GBR do anything and I don't think there's anything else out there on the market either to protect this side. Anyone??

 

I sent GB racing an email regarding the left side protection and why they dont even do crash bungs for the Blade, I'll let you know the reply.

 

Slick, I just sent them an email too. I even pointed them to this forum if they fancied giving us an answer direct. We shall see what tomorrow brings, shipmates!

I don't think IomTT bike is an ABS model. This is the side that would have the plastics on, so unless he's stripped off the ABS system?? I remember reading on here someone had done this exercise because he didn't like the ABS but a bit drastic if you just want to fit GBR kit I guess.
