Using that site, what is the standard size text if the minimum plate size to get away with is 7.5 x 6.5? Sorry I mean the type style size in mm
I checked the text size on my standard plate and measured 64mm high x 10mm width. Did you see what you text size was on a 7.5 x 6.5?
Hi Carl it was Steve b who started the original thread. I've already got an R&G with full size plate and was considering a plate off that website. In the design it was asking for Text Style and I wasn't sure on the text size part.
I do love Si's Rear end, its a beauty! But I think my little boy would be so upset if I removed the pillion pegs. So I think I might go for a Evotech or Yoshimura just for the ease of fitting...although I am wondering how much a custom CNC item would be. hmmmm

liking that Si, it's that or the yoshi one. Changing mine as I have the old R&G and don't like it. I want something small like yours. Phnarrr Where did you get yours from Si and if you had LED that came with it did you have to get a new relay thing for the LEDS to flash at the right speed?
I got mine from Ebay Italy… De pretto moto. the indicators are Rizoma (mmmm….Rizoma) and come with resistors in line…just connect them to the loom that the oem ones connected too…job done. The tail/undertray comes complete with the the rear LED light and also the number plate lights are built in to the rear light. The rear light is a lot brighter than standard Blade light, as are the indicators…so to me, it's safer. The race under tail makes the rear end look tiny, very tiny and slim, and i have a 7 x 5.5 plate on the bike, and the rear end makes the plate look huge, it's that small and slim. Go for it dude, it's a top quality bit of kit, no plastic but aluminium and fits very well. You lose a bit of under seat storage, but well worth it, and to be fair, i have only ever seen one other bike with it on, and that was in Italy. It really is a lovely bit of kit.
