So I saw the Doc this morning. He had a quick look said that it was spasming (again) and gave me a name and number of someone who can crack and twist my spine into submission. All I've got to do now is make the call. I've not got time to do it before Christmas so I may treat myself in the new year. Something to look forward to :)

    Totally agree with you.

As a result of my bad crash, my back is totally knackered which in turn has caused my hip to wear away which in turn has meant that my sciatic nerve is trapped by my hamstring (and this is on top of the original problem with my left leg and foot) and so for the majority of the time I am in agony (although over time I have come to live with it)

But when it gets too bad, off down to the Chiropractor, usually looking like the Costa Concordia listing as 45 degrees. :(

I crawl in, and I walk out, they are that good.

It is non invasive treatment, very relaxing, but it works (well is does with mine anyway) but you need to make sure that you use a McTimony Chiropractor.

It costs me £30 a session, but worth every penny and if I can I try to go every 3 - 4 months just to keep everything lined up.

So like Loganlexow said, Best choice I ever made.

And that's why I never play Top Trumps with Dan.

I've got a couple of bikes in the garage Dan...

I had a nasty paper cut which left a proper scar...

    Face it, he's the man.

After reading and seeing what I've read and seen on this thread I don't think I'll ever complain about my back pain again. Well, not to you lot anyway :)

I'd have a tattoo of the plates themselves on either side of it.

I went to the physiotherapist this morning for my weekly torture session. clearly she thought she was not hurting me enough and decided we should up the anti and introduce some acupuncture, I left walking like I had poo'd myself and sitting here this evening it feels like I have had crucifixion nails in my hands and feet, interestingly my back does not feel bad at all.
