as per title, I have the gp pro, no baffle, o2 bypass fitted, pipercross filter and a powercommander 5. anyone else with this can and setup? the reason I ask is what base map did you use in the powercommander as I wont be getting dyno time until the new year and cant find any maps close to this can.only thing I can find is can with baffle stock filter and o2 sensor :s
Yeah very loud, to the point I blipped the throttle A few times and it left my ears ringing for about An hour after.also spits blue flames
Just try maps for other cans with baffle out & 02 elim from the DJ website. (The filter makes almost zero difference)
2008 model maps are here. European models last 3 digits are prefixed with 5, eg, 16-002-502, which is the map I use with my LV can (not the same can as yours though) http://www.powercommander.com/powercommander/powercommander_maps_installs_product_buy_options.aspx?mdlyrid=16-002&make=19&model=208&make-n=Honda&model-n=CBR 1000 RR &year=2008&mk=19&mdl=208&yr=2008
I couldn't handle that! Had to put the baffle in my R77 as it way too loud. I love the look of the arrow but think I'm getting old and can't put up with noise!!
I had a superduke with loud cans and didn't mind that. I think it makes a difference here te blades exhaust is you kinda sit right above the noise!
I had a 2011 with LV GP pro, baffle in, O2 eliminator and stock filter. If you pm your email addy I will send you the map I used. To be honest, the Leo is loud enough with baffle in.
I will pm you now, cheers.did you use the smallest of the baffles? I got two and a washer with about five holes in it so I assume this is for more noise restriction?
I bought my baffle separately as I purchased the exhaust from Nutty on this site. It had quite a large hole and no washer.
had replied to the pm before I seen this. there was no info with mine to say what all these baffles and plates are meant to do :s
