Also just thinking tonight I think my bro in law Has a cbr250rr needing rebuilt in his shed.[/QUOTE] they are a rare bike you dont see many of them come up for a sale, never been on one but was talking to lad on a trackday with one and he had nothing but praise for them they rev to something stupid dont they?
yeah it red lines around the 20k mark short stroke engine and could easily keep up with my vfr400.pure wheelie tool (without needing the clutch). they are still very popular in Australia and there is a load there for sale but its £1k to import one as a friend of mine has moved over from there and brought his with him. this was the bro in laws before he had a slight off
you lucky buggar! what was your views on it? would love a shot on one kev but dont think that will ever happen but live in hope. it would only be a lottery win to own a nice one wouldnt it.
iy that is mad isnt it redline at 20 they are a lovely looking bike! does it need much doing to it like phantom?
needs fairings which you can get imported then just built up as far as I know.seen one online for sale last month funny enough.
iy get her wheeled into your garage for a winter project, what price do they go for as never seen one up for sale for ages?
depends on the condition but seen some around the 1k mark CBR250RR Honda Good Condition, MOT Taxed until November 12 in Preston, Lancashire | Motorbikes & Scooters for Sale | Gumtree.com
In reply to the radiators, the ones Gavin sell on Jap4 are the Rick Oliver ones. I had an RLR top rad and a Rick O lower and they are works of art.
they do look the buisness there meant to be wider fins arent they for better airflow? did you see a differance in the running temp after you fitted them? my lower one the fins are that hammered dont know if any air is getting through it.
They are a great job at keeping the bike cooler. The Chinese ones are OK.. I've a few mates that have fitted them and they've had the odd issue with fitting and one batch of imported rads needed the thread for the thermostat changed, but for £100 they are a great, cheaper alternative.
love that floresent orange replacing the red, are they all yours? what have you been doing with the one with no bodywork? dont know if there is anyone looking for one but there is lovely one ebay now that was owned by nick jeffries former tt rider its only got 12 hours to go.
haha you like it jimbo ? thought we'd do something different took us a couple of hours but worth it as its so easy to clean and find the odd nut and bolt ya drop
no only the orange mine one thats always stripped it my best mates , it's been totally upgraded head to toe costing 1000's about 4 lol and the other one is my other mates bike but never get any attention don't really know why he bothered buying it to be fair......idiot
If funds permit I'll maybe get 1 next year as a winter project. Though I was thinking of going down the Ducati route next for a change. If I did buy a NC30 that would make 4 Honda's in the garage
