Installing Oxford Mercury leds on 1K08

    Hi guys
    Im a total noob and guess i need advice everytime im going to do something lol

    I bought these

    and im going to install them on my 1000RR 08.

    Anyone that can tell how to do it? What do i need to remove to get access to the cables and so on? Enough to open under the tail or does the rear cowl remove?
    I tried earlier to get access to rear footpins.. but that wasnt so easy =/

    I assume you have the adapters as well. It's simple really should only take 45 mins max. Rear seat off and the wires for indicators can be traced. Unplug them and remove the originals. Fit new ones using adaptors as your new ones only need a smaller hole for the bolts. You should also consider getting some original plugs to add to your mini indicator wiring so that you don't have to cut any of your original wiring.

    Your may need something like this. eBay item 360472554715.


    The rear pillion pegs are a real pig to get off you basically need to dismantle the whole rear and of the bike to do it properly.

    No acually.. dont have the adapters =) Never thougt about them. Ill order these you linked to here =)

    You happen to know the orginal plug partnumbers? Would be nice to not have to cut the wires for sure! ^^

    I don't have a link no. I normally pick mine up from a local bike shop, I've tried to google it but not to sure what to all them!

    No worries.... you need a tail tidy now though as thos minis will be lost on the massive rear hanger!
