Love or hate OCC, Paul jr etc... after 10 years it's being Axed. Again 'American Chopper' Canceled By Discovery After 10 Years I have enjoyed the last few seasons, still too little building and too much Soap opera but always a shame when bikes get a axe from TV
I really liked the first few series but havent watched it for a good few years now so cant comment on the later episodes
The first series was great, but it slowly morphed into a soap opera, and a boring, tedious, repetitive one at that... 30 seconds of bike porn wrapped up in 25 minutes of "fights" and "emotion" and "family strife".
Not sorry to see it go, as the boys say used to watch it before it became prick vrs prick ''Great skills though''
I like Cafe Racer but the format gets on my tits. They do 5 minutes on each project and then the next part is in the next programme, and the good planners at Sky TV don't understand the importance of running series in broadcast order.
Can't say I've watched American Chopper for years. As others have said I liked it at the start when it was mostly bike building and metal fab but the last time I watched it it was just an 'Mericun soap opera.
I was off work for 3 months in 2006 after a cancer op and I watched every episode. It really cheered me up but over the last 3 years its became stupid mainly after Vinny left. Its now all about the them and not the bikes, sad really as it use to be a good laugh.
I liked that you were seeing two bikes being built each week. Vinny and juniors bikes were the best every time .
