Ok simple question really, weekends are going to be often easier for me to do trackdays next year. I would like my wife and kids to come to a few, as they have shown interest But as I've only done Pembrey and Anglesey both of which I know are fine for a more fruity exhaust, What other Circuits allow nosier track days? My 2011 blade has a Yoshi R77 End can, and is not overly loud. About 102-103db without the baffle. So no going on 95db or lower track days. I intend to take the blade to Castle combe (my local track) to get it noise tested by the guys who do it at the track. My maplin noise tester is not bad but just to double check So just wanting to know where I may be able to take my bike on track on the weekend. I seem to remember hearing Mallory only has the 95db day on the Sat and no Sunday or have I miss heard that
I'm fairly certain that it can be lower on certain days, the Focus Events web site already has some dates up and the Db limit is already on there. http://focusedevents.co.uk/shop/browse/396-april.html?sef=hc
oulton is always 102(apart from race/test days and are very strict,as are snetterton(102 aswell).(all static tests, and also have several fly-by sensors around the circuit) donny has different days, quite a few loud days (110 max i think),or quiter days at 105,then very quiet 98 days.this is drive by test only not a static test. croft is 101 or 100,but not many days available there anyway.(static test, but do monitor you through the day) 1 thing to remember is that track tests do vary a bit, also depending on bike temp, area, weather etc it can all make a difference.make sure your bike is properly warmed up before taking it as this helps a lot
Donny 105 in 2013, cadwell 105, mallory been hammered, so 95 (if it still exists come january). rest spot on.
