Ok guys, I now have an iPad so how will this benefit my forum activities. I've been using my iPhone for a while and to be fair there's appears to be little difference other than screen size, any advise to this regard.

Don't tuck it under your ear and try and make a phone call.

    It's too heavy.

    And it's not a phone.

I have just got one today, biggest difference I have noticed is the wife no longer "tuts" when I asked to borrow hers as the screen was too small on phone :)

I don't use tapatalk on the iPad.

Athur your right, no jail break for ios6 yet.

My eldest ios version was 5.1.1 new out of the box yesterday, He stopped it updating the os and then jail broke it with ver 5.

The youngest one's had auto updated to ios6 and we couldn't revert back to ios5, so no jail break for him!

It lets you download movies and apps for free instead of going through the app store.

I'm worried that if I ever managed to jaibake my iPad or iPhone 5 I would much it up. Agree the free games sounds good but easy to acquire a movie and make it mpeg4 then upload to iTunes. What I've done for years

What if any are the downsides of jail breaking ie how do you stop apple shutting you down and ending up with a very expensive brick??
