bought this it was advertised as never been fitted is in very good condition in orginal bag but the holes are in the wrong place for a road fairing, the holes would have to be drilled again to match the orginal road fairing or would be ideal for race fairings, will do it for half price of new £30 posted. pm if intrested cheers!
i just bought one had same problem,there is alocating piece at front of fairing that stops screen going all the way forward,answer was cut notch in end of screen the same as in original screen.this was on a 08 blade.worthwhile upgrade for us big fella"s.easy fix.
Your right the notch isn't in that screen. My mcguiness screen had a notch in it when it arrived and fitted straight on no probs
looks a bit like the screen I had.....the holes didnt line up right and the notch wasnt right.I threw it in the bin lol
cheers for the replys yeah i think there must be two types after having a look at pics of others, one race one road maybe? and think this one is the race one, would def have redrill the holes for it to line up to road nosecone agree with others would need the slot cut for front part for the road nosecone. sold to jimbo to go on new race fairings which will be ideal. cheers!
