Just a quickie about my blade. Its an 08 model and onli has 3500 on the clock . When i shift up it will go into gear fine but sometimes its like it double clicks. ?? Hard to explain. And some times it will just not go in gear and clunk. This dont happen often though so may be my own fault but it defo feels like it double clicks , is this normal ??

I know the gearbox on the blade is very "clunky"
But couldn't comment on yours without seeing it
First hand.oil level and clutch adjustment are all
    Okay I assume.

I had a similar problem, tbh in my case it was rider error, I wasn't quite selecting correctly! Perhaps a little adjustment required? It sorted me out anyway.

yeah there is that, lowering the gear lever can help.
I had to do this as my last bike had a lever that was really
low and when I went to the blade I kept not selecting the gears
right.....4th being the most common lol

As everyone else has mentioned plus chain adjustment, then get a Giles gear shaft support bearing fitted.

make sure the lever is adjusted to the right position and also make sure the rose joints are greased up well, like all bikes if not kept correctly it can be hard to get a gear if the linkage etc is full of crap.
