Was supposed to be going out with the Mrs but I got utterly spangled last night with a couple of mates so I don't feel like drinking tonight. I think I was in the bad books but some nookie and some takeaway seems to have solved the problem

A quiet night watching TV and a glass or two of port.........life in the fast lane lol. Might even reminisce about seeing in 2000, it was all so different then, cute girl , wine , thai beach and sex. The good ole days.

Well we're all a bunch of old farts arnt we guys lol, I'm the same, Jools holland hootannanay watch it every year, son and daughter over with their partners and at midnight we celebrate the daughters birthday ( New Year's Day baby) lots of food plenty of drink. Happy new year to us all eh. ))))
Me and Mrsb hardcore as ever, did one night shift, got tonight off so just Sat in front of the telly with a couple of beers in my dressing gown. Hair cut, beard trimmed,Bathed,nails clipped smelling all oil of ulay like. Guess the upside of all that, if I peg out before morning,? I'll be all ready for the undertakers

Well for the first time we went to bed before Jools Holland had finished and the reason was not to much drink or being tired it was that this years show was appalling to the extent that an evening with Ken was starting to look attractive .How about an old Adam Ant wearing glasses but dressed as the highwayman very sad or Roland Gift looking like he had just escaped from prison singing his old Elvis song but the worsted and the pits where Dexys singing come on EIleen in the pub singer style to me old Jools wants looking after his old 80s cronies and to top off my night we had a nearly dead Petula Clark singing downtown.If this is what is in store next year god help us ..
Watched the clock with a horrible realisation that I wasn't going to be allowed home before the event which would in turn mean suffering 10 minutes of air kissing the denizens of "the village". Had a couple of drinks only. A couple of top ups of rosé ( must check it hasn't turned me gay) and champagne at midnight. God I hate champagne. Ended up arguing special relativity with mine host. Not a good idea when I'm both sober and in a bad mood to start with. Did at least get home to watch the stadium rock documentary on BBC4. Fell into bed at 3:15 then couldn't get off to sleep. Bloody New Year's Eve.
