Well I was gonna take side stand off then I wasn't and in the end I decided to do a little modifying as i sometimes just go and do a day on my own cant be arsed with doing a balancing act to get rear stand on . I know the die hard racers will say you Pussy . Agreed ha ha but it now fits perfect and does not look too bad . Still gotta do some tidying of the round part but my youngest just gone to bed so a bit noisy in kitchen ha ha .Fairings are being sent tommrrow to www.rrracing.co.uk can't wait excited !!!!!!
Have the same dilemma with mine, seeing that though might go down that road, should look a tidy job! What have you done cut out a section and rejoined it? Look forward to the fitted pics!
I should of took more pics really but was just sort of done on a whim. Yeah you can see the curved part i just sort of followed it around then i cut away as much as i could by the mount as this used to stick out now with a bit of fibreglass now dishes in so stand fully retracts. Ill get them mounted up in a month or so and get some pics to put up cheers
wedge do you have any pics of it fitted, just modded my fairing But the sidestand still hit's it just with a Inch to close. prob is on mine removing the last bit would mean removing most of the area that fits onto the bike at the back. So unsure what to do
Hi buddy they are being painted at the mo mate gonna be 4 weeks till they back mine sort of clonks on the fairing but not enough to cause concern end me a pic of yours ill see how you have chopped her
no probs started on mine, I had some aluminium panel stuff and got the glass fiber kit. turning out good but just building up the curve needed to allow for the areas on the back of the fairing to be screwed to the bike and allow for the side stand. just need time to dry then sane and finish off, hoping to get the paint and primer next week
