Trade in the blade for a new 1, saying that you'll put the trupet up for sale in the paper. Then just say after a while that no one is buying bikes at the mo.

Or just do what you like and ride the storm for a bit ;)

I totally understand where your wife is coming from ! I wanted a live in Mistress and she sort of caused a small fuss which was ok at the time and we all get on fine now ,but there was a real issue when I wanted to get a new Repsol Blade she just wouldn't, let me have something slower and I nearly lost the mistress over it.

I also had a Speed triple (i traded my silver RR6 in for it) what an idiot.... Don't get me wrong the Speed was a lovely bike but I missed the Blade in every way - not sure what I was thinking when I signed on the line? ... A few months later I took the plunge (got a loan - cleared out the garage )and bought another Blade telling the wife that I would ride the two back to back for the spring and then sell the one I didn't ride - clear the loan and happy days, well the Speed went out just once after I got the Blade so it had to go - as much as I admire Triumph and still like the Speed and new Street I couldn't part with the HRC Blade and definatly can't afford both - mores the pity!

According to the statistics there is a 66% chance that all marriages will end in divorce anyways......at that point this moment will seem like a lost opportunity !

ah -ha so theres a 34% chance I'll stay married to my current wife... I'm no gambler but I think i'll keep the Blade and have a sneaky look at the new Street triple as a replacement for my winter hack! Credit cards gonna get a hammering!!!
