A long shot i know but has anybody with a 954 ever fitted (or knowns someone who has) a set of Helibars for a 929 to this bike ? I understand froma USA site that they will fit but Heli.com says the angle etc is different.... well i want to know if it makes any real difference going onto a bike it was not intended for... ie is it noticable in regards comfort.
Can't help you on Heli's but I'm having some Gillies Riser Variobars fitted to my yet to be delivered 2012 Blade which is being registered on a 'Lucky 4 some' 13 plate! After much enquiry these will improve touring comfort 10 fold!
Thought of these but can find no-body who has actually had them fitted and can report back, will be interested to see a full review on their fitting and how they perform.
Will report back as soon as poss but that's gunna be mid march as I won't have the Bike till the 1st!
No rush, i think bar risers (of any kind) are one of those purchases that you either love or are not bother about, so waiting for a better review is no issue. I do not understand why some of the sportsbike magazines don't do a more full review on all the different ones given that they are really aimed at our sort of bikes.
