Just joined the forum hello everyone, never been a member in a forum before. Bought a 2010 blade at the weekend and just wanting some advice on exhaust suppliers in the UK and what everyone's preferences are. Not looking to increase performance (coming form a 600rr I reckon the blade probably has enough power), just for better looks and a nice sound really. I've read that a straight link pipe can cause problems in terms of back pressure and low end torque, if so what are the brands that stick out in people's minds that retain the S shaped link pipe. Thanks!!!
Just to add I'm most intrigued by the M4 Black GP exhaust atm. Any experience with this slip on? Sounds lovely from the clips I've seen on the net!!
Hi and welcome!! I have a Scorpion exhaust with Cat box in place of S bend pipe... I know Yoshimura R77 gets good reviews. A few others too, the gang will be along soon enough to advise more... Oh, they will also be along to demand pics of your new Pride and Joy!!!
I'm taking delivery for it today. Would love to have picked it up and rode it home the long way but we have snow on the ground, tried it before in snow on an sv1000, interesting results... lol Here's a few pics:

An alternative is what they call the Exhaust flapper mod. There are 2 holes in your exhaust. The bigger one has a flap that opens at 4,000 RPM. It is an easy mod to disable the flapper so it stays open all the time. Sounds ALOT better, if you are in need of some noise until you source an aftermarket can... See it here... 08 cbr1000rr exhaust mod - YouTube
I'm definitely feelin your way of thinkin matrix.. Will probably mess around with some flaps later on this evening. As asked before though anyone heard an M4 GP on a blade?
