I'm really not in the market for a new bike... But saw the one at the Milan show and the baby one in these colours and fell in love, then Heard they were doing them for the big bro's, p&h had one but never saw it in the flesh... Now this is up for sale and I can't bloody stop looking at it.

Really can't justify the cash, haven't got room, don't want to sell the r1, need to keep the blade for track and wouldn't sell the vfr400 for nobody...

What's wrong with me?? But I fcuking love this bike!!!

    It's because they look amazing.

Far to small for me though. I'd rather have a 1198s size wise.
I've been looking at the Italians lately also for next years project.

It is perfectly normal to want this bike Jimbo, it is gorgeous, now I want one as well lol

I love my blade but I will always love Ducatis as well, I still miss the two I owned, that V twin throb and the pure pleasure of looking at them.

    Great bike Jimbo.

I'm not talking roomy on the bike, it's the bike it's self. It's tiny.

If it wasn't for that I'd be looking at it also.

It's a good looking bike... I'm over the 1199 thing now...I think...as Ive seen them soooo many times BUT it does look good in the new matt black, I think it's to mimic the test livery that Ducati did in GP and WSB.

I love my Ducati so much I got a new set of headers for the old girl, then spent two days on the mops shining it up, Colin the pipe out the rear of the 1199 is that Ducati worked out at last they need to be tuned length so the rear pipe needs to snake around to match the front horizontal cylinder.

    Pic of my new pipe....lol

Go on Jimbo doooo it, you can always squeeze in another one....lol

    Lol. Nice 1 Craig

Jimbo, does that 1 come with traction control and all that malarky? I know it doesn't have the fancy electronic sussies but wasn't sure if it had the TC.

I knida thought it was the exhaust, it's just that that shield does look bad compared to the rest of the bike. Almost like an after thought. No doubt there will be a carbon version available though ;)

Got a soft spot for one too. They are what I look at especially at bike meets.Simply fantastic looking machines.I simply cannot afford one, nor justify spending that much on a bike. But hey thats me.If I were younger and have no ties or older with no mortgage then hell yeah I would.

You can get over it as soon as you look at the price...or I did...24k for full fat model!

I had Ducati Envy, that's why I brought the poo cart (as Shane's call them).. lol

It's the checa test colours art!! There really isn't room at all mate lol but I'm working on that anyway... Just showed Lisa and she shrugged her shoulders and said "do whatever you like James"

Not sure col, it's the standard model so does have tc I think! Not into gizmos but guessing you can turn it off :)

My mate who works for Ducati got a base model 1199 he was going to fit Ohlins R&Ts and all that like most of us he wanted the full monty and for a while I think he wished he had....but not now... he tracks the bike and now after some time just loves it, he changing nothing! Id go for an ABS model though as the new Bosh ABS is the nuts, not like old ABS systems at all!

    Yeah...lol

Not like the old 1198 it likes to REV hard, think a few people have been disappointed with its grunt for an L twin I know my mate had some doubts for ages with his but once he rode it hard, all was good again..

This years WSB will be the test!
