954 radiator reserve tank

    Hi all,
    Just a quick question! how does the Radiator reserve tank cap come off ? is it twist or pull off ?

    The poxy, grainy picture in the service manual makes it look like the top of a screenwash bottle, which implies a pull off but it's not good enough to tell for certain.

    As you well know i too have that manual, it in fact does just pull off but not easy to get to without removing the lower fairing but it is achievable as my bruised hand show

    Just about to chip in and say pull off ! But i have my fairings off all the time for general cleaning etc.... its a 2 min job.

    Never taken the fairings off mine as yet. It does look a bit more of an endeavour than the 4 machine screws for each side of the Ducati.

    It is a doddle, you remove the 4 plastic screws from underneath and then just unscrew the silver screws, i leave the one that is at the top of the fairing near the air scoop things as its not really necessary and then makes it easier the next time you want to take it off, going off what some of the RR8 owners are saying (quoting 2-3 hours etc....) then i consider myself very lucky.
