Thanks Lee, Thats what I'm worried about when I'm banking low so thinking get rid of it, cant splicing wires short out somewhere else?

I've (and so have loads of people) scraped pegs on track and never been an issue mate - and not heard anyone having an issue - so I really wouldn't worry about it!?
+1 on what jimbo say's, I see some nutters scrapping pegs with elbow down and no issue's apart from scuffed leathers lol.
Have to agree with the guys here, i'm no pro but iv'e had the bike proper cranked over on the track with no issues, only when i came off on the road and the bike was lying on its side did the tilt sensor kick in and cut the engine out. needed when it was needed, not only to cut the fuel off but to prevent engine damage due to running without oil whilst lying in a slightly inverted position.
I only seem to get a small stall but this is only when I get the elbow and shoulder dug in deep to the Tarmac but when on the loose road clippings if I lift it an inch it seems fine .
you dont get (big) side forcecs on a bike unless your stopped ie crashed or dropped, or you fit a side car so i wouldnt worry
